Dr. Andre Francoeur D.V.M

Dr Andre Francoeur graduated  from the University of Montreal in 1986 with a degree in biology and a minor in animal behavior.  He then attended the Ontario Veterinary College (O.V.C.) and graduated with honors in 1991. After a few years in practice he became a partner and then owner of the Don Valley Animal  Hospital. Dr Andre regularly attends local and international conferences and seminars to stay current with the many advances in ophthalmology, surgery, internal medicine,  animal behavior  and all areas of vet medicine.  He also enjoys handling and treating rabbits, birds and small furries.

In his free time Dr. Andre has a menagerie of animals on his farm outside the city.  He has a special interest in raising Bantam chickens, geese, peacocks and horses. He also enjoys Canadian contemporary art, traveling and spending time with his wife and two sons and a Boston terrier named Margot!
